what will you look out for in finding a partner?

it's a random question that popped into my mind just,suddenly.
i can list a few criteria off hand,

to some, its looks.
everyone can just stop denying that they do not mind about appearance, cause i believe first impression do make an impact, minor or major. come on,just face it, that this is a very practical world.

and then, the character.
humorous guys often get the girls, or maybe some would prefer the cool dude. well, i like someone who i can share my views with and who can give his own views too. cut short, i like a opinionated guy. of course, being caring and respectful has its plus points. then again, all these will only show up slowly when you're months into knowing this very person.

next, age.
i wonder what do you guys think. for me, i totally cannot accept guys younger than me. i'll feel like i'm actually looking after my younger bro. and for older guys, maybe my maximum limit would be 4 years of age, even that, i feel that the age gap is alr too big. it just feels like an older guy is trying to take advantage of a xiao mei mei. sterotype you may say, but when the gap is there, where's the common topic to start off with?

then comes, qualifications.
no one will go indepth into the certs and scholarships at first but a mention of the word ITE or a drop out, tell me, how many people out there will actually not strerotype them? it's just inevitable, thanks to Singaporean parents who like to say stuffs like, "Its The End" as quoted from local serials. to me, it isn't about how much difference are we apart but rather, how hardworking and how much drive are we willing to put in together to get to the same level. cause i believe, with huge difference in paper certs, financial problems will surface, just sooner or later. or maybe you'll like to argue that you're a uni grad who's in love with a char kuay teow hawker who earns $10k a month, then that's a different story.

who doesn't love a guy who drives, who's rich, who has good qualifications and talented and most of all, true to her?

please slap yourself and wake up, fairytales just don't happen in real life.
people ain't perfect and the imperfections are what made them perfect.
